2009 – Bakoma obtained very high grades in the contest of Forum Leader 2009 organized by Nathusius Investments publishing house – the editor of Mleczarskie Handel magazine. Salesmen/readers of the aforementioned magazine, for the fifth time selected a group of the most interesting dairy products and hard cheeses. Bakoma obtained, in the contest, the first place in the category of desserts for Satino product with chocolate flavour, the second place in the category of yoghurts for 7 Zbóż (7 cereals) with strawberry flavour and the 3rd in the category of cream cheeses, for Bakuś Puszysty for children with chocolate flavour

Premium Brand 2009 – already for the fourth time Bakoma took part in an independent ranking of reputation of brands and companies in Poland, which, like every year, was organized by MMT Management, Maison Survey House, TNS OBOP Survey Institute and the Forbes monthly. In the Ranking of Brand Reputation TOP 25 Bakoma took the 18th place, while in the ranking of High Reputation Brand 2009 in the category of Food we obtained the 6th place. Reputation of brands and companies was assessed in five dimensions: credentials, media atmosphere, company as the employer, social commitment and as a business partner. We are very happy with the obtained result, first of all because the rankings of Premium Brand are built based on consumer survey, and the opinion our consumers is essential for us.

Market Pearl FMCG 2009 – 7 Zbóż (7 cereals) was awarded in the contest of Market Pearls 2009, organized by Wiadomości Handlowe publishing house. The aim of this competition was to identify the best novelties in 33 categories that appeared on the market in 2008. The winners the competition were nominated in on the basis of voting organized among employees of retail trade. The questionnaires, filled in and bearing a store stamp, were sent by retailers to the GFK Polonia Institute which undertook their processing and calculation of results. Competition Final turned out to be very satisfactory for us – for 7 Zbóż (7 cereals) yoghurt we received the 1st prize – Market Pearl FMCG 2009 in the category of yoghurts, creams, concentrated milk. We are proud of this award, because the opinion our business partners is extremely important to us.

Premium Brand 2008 – BAKOMA took part in the 3rd edition of the Premium Brand 2008 competition – an independent ranking of reputation of brands and companies in Poland, organized by MMT Management, Maison Survey House, TNS OBOP Survey Institute and the Forbes monthly.  On top of the ranking of reputation of companies, there were many companies of Polish origin. BAKOMA was in the first twenty of the most popular companies in our country and took the 16th place. The success is even greater due to the fact that the ranking also involved participation of companies with foreign capital.  The survey implies that Poles like domestic brands with many years of tradition. BAKOMA was established in 1989, and its strong position on the market results, above all, from hard work of people involved in the issues of the company, but also high quality of produced accessories. As a result, in the brands ranking in the category of food we obtained the fourth place, and hence the title of High Reputation Brand.

Forum Leader 2008 – BAKOMA again took part in the competition of “Forum Leader” organized by Nathusius Investments publishing house in Forum Mleczarskie Handel magazine. The purpose of the competition is selection of the most interesting offers of dairy products and margarines, available on the Polish market. The awarded products were characterized by: innovative technology, interesting graphic layout, convenience of packaging, interesting marketing campaign, simplicity of culinary application, or simply flavour.  In this edition of the competition BAKOMA achieved the 2nd place in two categories: cream cheeses and desserts. As it turns out, our products: biscuit Bakuś and Sonata chocolate dessert enjoy high popularity not only from among customers, but they have  also gained excellent opinion among Polish Buyers.

Ranking of Rzeczpospolita 2008 – Already for the fifth time Rzeczpospolita published a list of the most valuable, the most popular and the strongest Polish brands. Development of the market resulted in the fact that in 2008 in the ranking involved much more companies than in the previous years. However, Rzeczpospolita, like every year, described brand positions with regard to their value, power and strength.  The value of BAKOMA brand is evaluated at 134.5 million PLN.  In 2008 BAKOMA reached a very good result in the ranking of power coming fifth in the category of food and ninth in the ranking of strength, which involved participation of companies from various trades. When calculating coefficient of power and strength, account was taken, above all, of brand quality and prestige. According to Rzeczpospolita, consumer satisfaction better proves the strength and the impact of the brand than its knowledge being the consequence of the method of distribution goods as well as intensity of marketing campaign.  Additionally, in the mini-ranking of 60 brands that achieved the best marks, referring to particular indicators, BAKOMA achieved satisfactory results. In the category of customer loyalty, we came 7th. The loyalty ratio shows the extent to which the customers will take into account a possibility to purchase products of a given brand in the selected category. In the category of most often selected brands, BAKOMA came 20th.  Equally important for us is the category of priority in awareness, whose measure is a test for the brand recognition which covered the analyzed group of respondents. In this category, we came 20th. We would like to thank our consumers for such high marks and for their trust towards us. We hope that our company will further develop intensively, creating new, even better products giving satisfaction to our customers.

Product of the Year 2008 competition – Premium Yoghurt was recognized by Polish consumers as the Product of the Year 2008 in the category of yoghurts, on the basis of research conducted by TNS OBOP.    Bakoma achieved a very high 7th position in the ranking of 300 strongest brands of 2007, prepared by Rzeczpospolita daily. The strength of the brand was determined comparing a position of a given brand with the position of competitive brands, on the basis of qualitative market survey. Bakoma achieved the best result from among all the surveyed brands of the dairy trade.

Forum Leader 2007 – silver award in the category of desserts for Satino Bakoma with chocolate flavour, in a competition organised by the editor of Forum Mleczarskie Best brand of 2005 – according to the survey conducted by Brief magazine Bakoma is the second (after Wedel) best Polish brand in the category of food products, both in terms of quality and liking among consumers (Source: Brief, 01/2006)

Kupuj Nasze (Buy Our Products) PL Foundation organized, already twice, a campaign for the development of Polish products. The reason for the nationwide information-educational campaign is low awareness of a Polish consumer. Poles still do not understand that by buying Polish products, they contribute to developing Polish economy, increase in employment and improvement in living conditions of employees already hired.    In 2000, the Foundation conducted a campaign “Care for your brand”, while in 2004 “When you buy Polish products, you give a job” campaign. As a result of the conducted activities, a badge was prepared which helps to easily spot Polish products on shop shelves, which is significant for consumers supporting domestic entrepreneurship.  BAKOMA is one of the top Polish producers specializing in producing dairy beverages, desserts, and yoghurts. For this reason, three of our products, Polskie Smaki (Polish Flavours), Polskie Zboża (Polish Cereals) and Premium have been marked in 2005 with symbol “When you buy Polish products – you give a job”.
